Hey guys. So I was wondering if you guys think if Skeeter's mom will be ok, or if she will only get worse from here, and maybe die soon/later? Will Skeeter look back, and ask if she could have been nicer to her mother if she dies? What are your thoughts?
I think that as Mrs. Phelan has been getting worse, Skeeter has definitely not been as resentful towards her. I think that she is already VERY sick, and by the end of the book will be even worse, but I'm not sure if she will die or not..

I think that Charlotte is going to die. This is my prediction. I also agree with Loretta that she sounds really really sick which is really sad. I wonder what type of sickness she has it sounds like the cancer Steve Jobs has Pancreatic Cancer. That is a really sad way to die... practically starving to death):
ReplyDeleteEven though Skeeter and her mother never had that great of a relationship, its really sad to see Skeeter almost mourn her mother, even though she's still alive. I thinks its clear that Charlotte is on her death bed, as sad as it is,

I agree Skeeter's mom really hasn't been doing well and I think she may die by the end of the book. I think Skeeter is starting to understand what's happening to her mom and may be feeling bad because she was never that close with her mom and now she is really sick. It's really sad and I hope Skeeter is able repair their relationship in some way before her mom gets even worse.
